Our goal is to move beyond traditional methods, leveraging emerging technologies and innovative approaches to ensure these translations reach their communities as quickly as possible.

Full Bible Initiative

The Full Bible Initiative (FBI) is a strategic, collaborative effort to accelerate Bible translation for key language groups with high-priority needs.

The FBI targets three main categories:

Languages with 500,000+ speakers where translation has stalled or has not yet started.

Eligibility for Participation

Partners must meet the following requirements to the right and submit a translation plan outlining strategies to fulfill them and achieve the All-Access Goal by 2032.

Use Assisted Translation Technologies for drafting, quality assurance, and data assessment.

Ensure church/community involvement in translation decision-making and quality assurance methods.

Commit to open licensing and upload completed translations to the DBL.
