Our goal is to move beyond traditional methods, leveraging emerging technologies and innovative approaches to ensure these translations reach their communities as quickly as possible.

Full Bible Initiative

FBI is a strategic, collaborative effort to accelerate Bible translation in languages where accelerated approaches are most clearly needed to achieve the All Access Goals by 2033

The goal is to carefully increase utilization of emerging methods in Bible translation

to see Scripture in these communities as quickly as possible.

Eligibility for Participation

Partners must submit a translation plan outlining strategies to achieve the All-Access Goal by the end of 2032 (creating cushion for 2033). Eligible plans will include all three elements highlighted here.

Use Assisted Translation Technologies for drafting, quality assurance, and data assessment.

Ensure church/community-based leadership in translation decision-making and quality assurance.

Commit to open licensing and uploading all translated Scripture to the DBL.
